My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord hear me well. You and I are children of God. If you believe in Christ Jesus and you pray to God and study His word these are some of the traits that show you are a child of God. Now the vicissitudes or challenges of this life should never make you think otherwise. God our Father loves us so dearly that it is proven beyond doubt that His love for us is real. Man’s love may fail but God’s love always stands tried and true.
The Apostle Paul silenced all arguments and said in Romans 8:16-18
[16]The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
[17]And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
[18][But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!

I want you to be assured, to be certain that you are a child of God. Yes, you might be facing hardship and going through a tough time right now but even King David said in Psalm 40:17
[17][As for me] I am poor and needy, yet the Lord takes thought and plans for me. You are my Help and my Deliverer. O my God, do not tarry! [Ps. 70:1-5; I Pet. 5:7.]

Did you see that, the Lord takes thought and plans for you!
You are not forsaken/abandoned and neither are you alone, the Father is always there it’s only us who don’t realise it. So take heart today/tonight by being rest assured that you are a child of God and that He loves you. I know there is joy coming for you tomorrow!
