Whilst we were sinners Christ Jesus died.

Greetings to you all my fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour, I hope I find you well wherever you are?
Listen to me I have been pondering over this word since yesterday and somehow we seem to miss the mystery and power of it. Today we are quick to crucify others and we even see ourselves as misfits and have no love for ourselves and for soul winning surely we are missing it!
I bet ya’ that if Christ chose to die for the righteous I don’t think anyone would’ve been saved, me included.
Our own righteousness does not qualify us to become Sons of God at all. We cannot by our own interpretation or thinking measure up or even come close to what righteousness is. It is only possible by the blood of Jesus, so only Christ Jesus our Lord can qualify us and not our works. I love what Apostle Paul said as I delved deeper in my thoughts over the fact that Christ died for us whilst we were still sinners, in fact before we were even born, not mentioning the endless times we sin, Christ chose to die for us still!
Here’s the text it reads, Romans 5:8-9
[8]But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
[9]Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.

This is a deep irrevocable truth that you and I should accept and cherish. Of the over 5 billion people on earth Christ chose to die. Whether per say Greek or Jew, and every Gentile as long as they are a person Christ Jesus died for each and everyone of us. Now it is important to respect and honour that daily within our lives and take this as a means not to judge others but look at them through the eyes of mercy, and stop self-condemnation and understand that Jesus Christ died for you. No one is perfect late alone righteous except Christ Jesus. So while it is still today you and I still have a chance to make amends with the Father and to walk uprightly.
