Sons of of the Most High God take time to PRAY and give thanks to the Father over the good He has done today, petition over the things yet to be done and confess the sins and faults so that you sleep purified and start on tomorrow on a fresh page.
This hour, this minute is a time of reckoning and you cannot start up the next day with the stench and stain of yesterday’s sins and failures. Rid yourself of guilt and so that you are sober minded to go through the next day and attain good success.
Psalm 32
- I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord [continually unfolding the past till all is told]–then You [instantly] forgave me the guilt and iniquity of my sin. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
- For this [forgiveness] let everyone who is godly pray–pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely when the great waters [of trial] overflow, they shall not reach [the spirit in] him.
Forgiven sin is confessed sin and this begins with prayer!
So sit yourself down and do a self-introspection then pray seeking forgiveness. Paul says, 1 Corinthians 15
- [I assure you] by the pride which I have in you in [your fellowship and union with] Christ Jesus our Lord, that I die daily [I face death every day and die to self].
Die to self tonight through repentance and rise up(resurrect) to a newness of life “through being rendered forgiven” tomorrow, so that you can enjoy the benefits of the comimg day.
