Shalom shalom to you Sons of the Most High God. I want to ask you these questions;
How will you react in the midst of calamity when you feel your life’s at its end what will you do?
Are you able to stay calm and be a voice of encouragement to others in the face of danger?
Do you speak hope when everyone around you is gripped with fear?
I was amazed by the Apostle Paul- what a phenomenal character, how in the face of danger he stayed calm and spoke prophetically and uplifted everyone’s spirit.
Some of us are forced to fast by circumstances and not because we are seeking after God.
Acts 27
- While they waited until it should become day, Paul entreated them all to take some food, saying, This is the fourteenth day that you have been continually in suspense and on the alert without food, having eaten nothing.
- So I urge (warn, exhort, encourage, advise) you to take some food [for your safety]–it will give you strength; for not a hair is to perish from the head of any one of you.
- Having said these words, he took bread and, giving thanks to God before them all, he broke it and began to eat.
- Then they all became more cheerful and were encouraged and took food themselves.
May the Father help us to be the voice of encouragement in these difficult times that we are in to someone that really needs it,and not to be the voice of fear and discouragement in Christ Jesus’ mighty name!
