My friend our inability to see God working hinders our ability to receive the workings of God. The devil has diverted so much of our focus and attention on material substance such that we are blurred to blindness from spiritual substance. At some point it’s as if God is dead. I can bet you they’re many today that can conjure up theories just to discredit your faith and belief in God and the things and ways of God. Over centuries various philosophies have been given just to try to prove that faith in the word of God does not work. Even your very own experiences in the vicissitudes of life has left you wondering this daunting question….”is God for me?”
I have percieved with the desire to understand why life is as it is and why God allows certain things to befall us and I came up with one answer to this; because He loves us so much and wishes to reveal His Greatness and Power through our adversities!
If faith is a substance of things desired and therefore evidence of the invisible, surely as I observe the wind and formation of clouds there is evidence of a supernatural factory and warehouse under a Supernatural God. If I observe how they are seasons; stars at night and the sun by day with rain falling in its time even snow surely there is evidence of a Supernatural God. Now these being merely occurances and part of creation and they are on time and serve their purpose, how much more us that are formed in His image, are we not meant to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it, to have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth?!
Something somewhere has blinded us from this truth and reality over our lives and has led us to poverty, lack and being weak and as slaves yet I pray that according to Ephesians 1: 17-19 which says, [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,
By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),
And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength

You and I need insight into the things and ways of God in order to succeed in this life.
