It was as I was sleeping that these words came to me: The conclusion of a matter is better than it’s beginning(Ecclesiastes 7:8). As I was meditating over this another scripture came to me; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
All has been heard; the end(conclusion) of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good or evil. [Matt. 12:36; Acts 17:30, 31; Rom. 2:16; I Cor. 4:5.]
Surely I then realized that upon everything we set out to do and everything about our lives there is a conclusion/end.
Hear me good, everything that has a beginning has an ending or conclusion.Yet only one thing is important which is that, have we pleased GOD and worship Him enough in order to therefore meet an expected end?
Our sole purpose in life is to revere God and worship Him before the end/conclusion comes cos everything has an end!
