My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus grew to you all, I hope I find you well wherever you are. Earlier this morning I could hear the Father instructing me to correct our mistakes. Many times we are frustrated as believers because we pray and quote scripture as a backup for our requests/petitions , and yet we come out empty!
It’s as if the Father has favourites and we tend to feel like we are not worthy. Brothers and sisters, a misquote of scripture is a misconstruance of truth and/or realities of the Bible. Today I was shown a certain scripture and was asked to correct our error.3 John 1:2-3
[2]Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
[3]In fact, I greatly rejoiced when [some of] the brethren from time to time arrived and spoke [so highly] of the sincerity and fidelity of your life, as indeed you do live in the Truth [the whole Gospel presents].
Now I want to unpack these two verses clearly for all our understanding;

1. If your soul is not prospering through prayer, the study of the word, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and daily walk with the Father then forget about any physical prosperity. Some of us are so focused on physical prosperity that we negate and overlook the foundational spiritual prosperity which then gives birth to the physical. Realise this, if your soul is not kept well and you are troubled by a spirit, stressed out; all these being a result of not being filled by the Holy Spirit of God, then there is no way physical prosperity, good health and success that can take place. You’ll find yourself often sick, having insomnia, frequently exhausted, and a whole lot of other physical and health issues and problems.
2. If you are not living an honest or good faith-based, and consistently loyal and supportive lifestyle as a Son of God, as far as the Kingdom of Heaven is concerned, then surely your physical and spiritual stature will not have an ounce of prosperity.
   Many of us just want the rewards without having to put in the hard work. It’s like wanting to enjoy a meal without even preparing it!
   Apostle John made a declaration prayer here and said due to your fidelity and sincerity, surely I pray that you prosper in every way and be of good health even as you are “spiritually” prospering.
   So brothers and sisters for good health, success and prosperity begin spiritually, then you will see the physical manifestation taking place.
