My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus greetings to you all. I want to mess up and make up someone’s theology today. There is an irrevocable truth that we must not overlook. We were all not born again to become Christians but something far much more beyond.
I know already you are questioning what I mean but hear me out!
We were saved and born again to become Sons not Christian. Christian simply means Christ-like or speaks of resemblance not actuality!
Scripture is very clear in Galatians 4:4-5
[4]But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law,
[5]To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons].

God adopted us as Sons not just Christians. Many of us are living in limitations because we do not realise that we need to graduate from believers to Christians, and from Christians to Sons.
Watch this we have 3 stages; infants, teenagers and adults which are believers, Christians, Sons.
The Apostle Paul says it this way, 2 Corinthians 3:18
[18]And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

That image mentioned there is to say we are changed/transfigured from infant to teenager and from teenager to adults-figuratively meaning from believers , Christians to Sons.
The privilege we received from the Father is not to become Christians but Sons. Now we read in John 1:12-13
[12]But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name–[Isa. 56:5.]
[13]Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]

Understand this somebody, you were born again to become a Son. None gender-based because you mature to become the Image (Son) of God our Father, note not like as in resemblance but the spitting image of Christ Jesus himself. So grasp this word because and should redefine you and revolutionise the way you pray by being able to address God as your Heavenly Father, and approaching the throne of grace with boldness that you may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. God is our Heavenly Father no doubt, for this is who He is to us and we are His Sons in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name!
