Wait I say upon the Lord!

I greet you all my fellow brethren in Christ Jesus and I hope I find you well wherever you are. Now over the years we have grown very impatient and to counter that faster cars, trains, planes were introduced together with remote controls, microwave, faster cookers faster phone processors and computers and in as much as we hide on the convenience belt this is all because we want things fast paced. If you are driving on the same highway everyday at some point you start to complain and say the traffic is taking too long. So due to the vicissitudes of life we pin ourselves under unnecessary pressure and want everything to be done done so hastily such that even to the Lord God our Father we expect Him to do things in accordance with our pace and we in the process belittle the Almighty and treat Him as we would our gadgets or the tools we use on this world to catch up with our self-inflicted fast-paced lifestyles.
Sons of God it is them that are patient enough to wait upon the Lord that have their strength renewed and are revived and equipped to tackle any storm and elevated to soar higher and higher.
David understood the essence and power in waiting or being patient such that in 1 verse he reiterated or repeated the importance of being patient and said,
Psalm 27:14
[14]Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

He used two words which we overlook; stout and enduring. To be stout means to be stout and sturdy. This means be long-suffering, settle down, don’t rush yourself or God but be expectant; on the lookout because God is faithful and just to grant our requests, and truth be told, He never disappoints. The Father has good gifts for you and me, so let us trust His timing and know whatsoever we ask for in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, He will do it and fulfill it in its due season. I believe it’s King David who wrote and said,’ they trust in Him are never put to shame!’; so have faith and wait expectantly no matter how long it takes, I say wait!
