Brethren in Christ, in this life they are so many celebrations we experience and go through. We celebrate a new born. Birthdays, graduations, weddings, and anniversaries. All this celebrations are good ans worth having, yet there is one celebration that overshadows them all- the celebration of having your name written in the Lamb Book of Life. Now they are two things I want you to carefully consider: 1. It is possible to be celebrated in all these things I have mentioned and not be celebrated in Heaven.
- It is possible to be celebrated in Heaven and have been celebrated on earth.
Sons of God be cautious of the praises of men that may lead you astray and have you fail from enjoying the celebration in Heaven. May I announce to you today that there is an ultimate wedding that is coming! You might not have been invited to any wedding or party or been celebrated, but whatsoever you do, don’t miss the. invitation and wedding of Heaven! Christ Jesus has given you and I an open invitation to wedding of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Matthew 22 - The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son
- And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come.
- Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast.
- But they were not concerned and paid no attention [they ignored and made light of the summons, treating it with contempt] and they went away–one to his farm, another to his business,……
- Then he said to his servants, The wedding [feast] is prepared, but those invited were not worthy.
- So go to the thoroughfares where they leave the city [where the main roads and those from the country end] and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.
- And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests.
- But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment.
- And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged).
- Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.
- For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
In this parable it is clear that those who were suppose to enter heaven will fail because they received not Christ Jesus’ but to all those that recieved Him and believed in His name who have their sins washed away and are walking right before the Father shall enter Heaven and also that no one can enter through shortcuts just like the man mentioned who didn’t have appropriate attire. Be very careful how you live your life so that you will be able to make it to Heaven- the word of God is the lamp of your feet and the light of your path- simply meaning that it is our guide book, our map to how we will get to Heaven. Let’s study it to be approved and lets practice it to be qualified for the Kingdom of Heaven in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name!
