…and I will rebuke the devourer!

My beloved friend, in pursuit of perfection, errors and omissions are not expected. Same as in the pursuit of holiness errors and omissions are not expected. As a student if you writing an exam and in your paper you make errors and omissions you will definitely dismally fail. Anything done with half effort is foreseen based on what the end product will look like. Now paying your tithe and giving your offerings is ensuring that the gospel may continue to spread and thus many lives be transformed and this us the will of God for the gospel to spread out. In this world it takes money to move things, words, teachings or anything that has to be moved requires money. Many people argue on this matter of tithes and offerings and interestingly enough the chunk which the government takes not once but on every monetary transactions called tax or vat, they remain silent about it. You pay tax so that the government provides for you better services and yet that’s not usually the case as tax payers money is squandered for personal profiteering by certain individuals. Unlike the government the tithe of God that a believer pays invokes God’s blessing upon your life and the Father takes it a step further to sharply disapprove the devoured from touching or affecting your finances, because God said it.
Malachi 3:10-12
Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. [Mal. 2:2.]
And I will rebuke the devourer [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts.
And all nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.

It is the obedient that through the pandemic had sustenance and even today are experiencing restoration and financial provision in their lives. Squanderes reap what they are sowing squandering, reasoners also reap reasonings from life as to why their situation is not changing- the principle stands you reap what you sow.
Don’t listen to any Tom, Peter or Harry on their reasonings why not to tithe or give; just walk into obedience and see for yourself if God will not do as He promised above.
