My beloved friend, Christianity today has been met with so much free will to sin. We choose to do away with certain principles of God so that we can enjoy one moment of sin gratifying our flesh and wicked desires. Conformity is not wrong only if it is directed to pleasing God rather than ourselves.
The values of christianity have be violated in the church today so as to bring conformity to the world and things of this world, yet we ought to set a higher and good example of how life ought to be by refusing to have conformity to the world and upholding godly values by faith. Conformity to the world to put it in simple terms is to consider as worthless the sacrifice that Christ made and decide to live your life by your terms and not God’s!

Hebrews 10:26-29 says,
For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward].
[There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God]. [Isa. 26:11.]
Any person who has violated and [thus] rejected and set at naught the Law of Moses is put to death without pity or mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. [Deut. 17:2-6.]
How much worse (sterner and heavier) punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and [thus] trampled underfoot the Son of God, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of God)? [Exod. 24:8.]

My friend worldly-conformity is the choice to sin knowingly and feeling it’s ok to do it cos as long as I’m happy. Now God is not a fool to have given us His WORD that is the roadmap to life; obviously He made us so there is nothing new to Him. You cannot come up with any excuse to try to outsmart what He has commanded or instructed. His WORD forever is established in the heavens and it is irrevocable irregardless that you feel you have your own rights. Sin is sin and has a wage of death whether witchcraft or stealing to feed yourself and family, it’s still sin. It takes just a little yeast to make the whole dough rise, likewise a little conformity and sin is right at the door.
Let us reach a stage whereby we adhere to His will, principles and purposes that He has set for us.
