Blessings by Association!

My beloved friend, I sat down and pondered, searched and wondered and I realized that anyone of us can be cursed if we associate with the wrong crowd; the same can be said that anyone can be blessed if they hang out with the right crowd. Bad friends influence bad decisions and good friends influence right decisions. Certain people we cling to we ought to let go because not eveyone that smiles at you is for you. Evil lurks at times in the kindest of smiles. There is a blessing that comes in associating with the right people. Learn to associate with everyone at every level of life. I discovered over the years that the wisest person you can meet is not the one that is rich and wealthy materially but the one that is rich and wealthy spiritually.
Romans 12:15-16 says, Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others’ grief].
Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. [Prov. 3:7.]
Sometimes the wisest words you will ever hear will come from the poorest and despised sources. Ungodly counsel births ungodliness and godly counsel births godliness. Certain things are not as they appear and so are certain people, so don’t fool yourself to be wiser because you think living an exclusive life is godly. God demands humility, and for you to attain the blessing by association from others be prepared to be humble enough to accept correction and instruction where it is due even from people of a lesser rank in life than you; now that’s wisdom!
Always remember the least will be the greatest and the humble will be exalted!
