My friend whom do you greatly please? Who is pleasured most by your words and actions, by your thoughts and secrets?
Is it your flesh or the spirit?
Is it yourself or God?!
I have found that we love to do things that our cunning hearts desire and comfort ourselves with a irrevocable lie that we only live once so do what your heart pleases. May I announce to you oh ignorant and foolish individual that we do not live once but for eternity and where you’ll end up is determined by whom you choose to PLEASE.
David out of wisdom sang this in Psalm 37:1-5 and said, FRET NOT yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God).
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
Hear me God loves you and surely knows what He is doing. Please Him and He will reward you profitably.
