My friend there is a certain rest that we have when we are in Christ. Our hearts and minds are at ease and we are not troubled even if the world changes and the mountains are removed and cast in the sea. We are not worried neither are we afraid once we encounter this peace. We need to seek this peace and ensue it and the good news is that it is found in Christ. Paul prays and says in Philippians 4:7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Today I pray that may the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and keeps your minds in utmost sanity in Christ Jesus’s name!
