My friend so after long morning of deep meditation the spirit of the Lord then said something interesting to me. ‘They are seemingly nice people out there but the very reason why they don’t get things we think they deserve is because God weighs the hearts. It is the intents of the heart that God looks at rather than the appearance of a person.’ I mean they are some people that you look at and ask but why won’t God bless this person or help this person, the answer is simple- God sees the bad and evil that lurks in that individual’s heart which we ourselves do not see.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.
So what is the verdict: like David I cry out to God and say create in me a clean heart O Lord and renew a right spirit within me because my heart is cunning, so help me such that the meditations of my heart and the words of my mouth be pleasing before you O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer, in Christ Jesus’s name!
