My friend you and I own nothing, isn’t it interesting that even our very bodies are not ours. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,
You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.
Wow our very bodies are not ours but they are the sanctuary the home for the Holy Spirit. One will then ask so what are we?
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 SO THEN, let us be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards (trustees) of the mysteries (the secret purposes) of God. Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust].
We are stewards- (Managers/Supervisors/Attendants) assigned to look after everything God created including ourselves.
So be a faithful steward and it starts with how you look after or handle yourself.
