My friend if ever there is one thing I’ve learnt it’s how impatient we are. At times when you standing in a queue you tend to get frustrated easily and if you are to notice that very moment of queuing can mess up your entire mood for that particular day. We ought to be patient and to trust in the Lord to come up with a way. Psalm 37:7 Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
Often at times when we see others progressing and ourselves as if we are stagnant we tend to try to do something and overtake our neighbour thus we get into shady deals and root ourselves into evil schemes in order to stay afloat. My friend it is they that patiently wait upon the Lord that renew their strength and are able to have their way prosperous. Do not put yourself under unnecessary pressure by trying to be like so and so because you have no clue how they are progressing, just be content with what you have and trust in God for your daily supply and expected end. Be patient and wait for your time and chance to arrive because He that promised you is faithful. Opportunity knocks on everyone’s door, just be ready whilst you wait patiently trusting wholly in God. Don’t try to be like the next person you know be who you were born to be and let Christ Jesus be your focal point. Be yourself and do things at your own capability. Today I urge you to stay your course and live by your means, 1 Timothy 6:8-10 says, But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content (satisfied).
But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing.
For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.
Be patient and realize that not having today doesn’t mean you won’t have tomorrow. Wait your turn and God will renew your strength and make you mount up like an eagle. He is our Shepherd and knows exactly where to find pasture and still waters, so trust in Him.
