My friend are you aware that God knows your weaknesses and limitations. Many of us struggle to pray or to study the word of God and we also struggle with fasting because any failure of the above is evidence of the absence of the Holy Spirit. The reason the Holy Spirit was given was so that He can help us, stand in for us and also speak on our behalf- He is the Super in our natural so as to produce the supernatural. Now hear me, without the Holy Spirit or without us having to yield or surrender to the Holy Spirit then He cannot help us and we struggle and fail. God’s word teaches us to say in Romans 8:26-27 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will. [Ps. 139:1, 2.]
My brothers and sisters for this to happen is only when we are one with His Spirit. If we were capable on our own the Holy Spirit would not have come. The Lord Jesus said in John 14:16-18 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–
The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.
So today welcome the Holy Spirit into your life. Invite HIM into your heart. Ask the Father for the Holy Spirit and surely you will receive Him now and forevermore. It is not by might nor by power but by the Holy Spirit!
