My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour, greetings to you all.
One of the greatest hindrances we face in our lives is fear over circumstances. If our hope is built on nothing else than Jesus’ blood and righteousness then surely we will be more than conquerors.
Today as I reflected on the word of God I saw and realised how often we sing certain songs that don’t even hold value in our lives; let me explain this. In the morning time I saw how we sing the song, “The blood of Jesus, shall never loose it’s power”, and the song, “there is power, power wonder working power in the blood of the lamb…”. No matter how spiritual we sound deep down to reality we don’t believe what these songs and others that speak of victory through the blood of the Lamb are concerned about!
Psalm 42:5 says, Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why unease within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him for the salvation of His presence. (Berean Standard Bible)
4 things are mentioned here by King David.
- Situations/Circumstances will come that will make your soul downcast or sad.
- You will at sometime be gripped with fear and be unsettled within.
- Trust in the Lord in all circumstances.
- Get ready to testify of the goodness of the lord through praise.
So today I want to encourage someone by saying, your current circumstances are not the final outcome, neither are they permanent because the Word of God shows us that we will pass through the valley of the shadow of death but we must not fear any evil, because He who promised and whom you believe in is faithful. In trying times keep the faith, and in pressing moments prepare a praise-dance for salvation is guaranteed for you and me through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour-Amen!
