My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus greetings to you. Yes, I do understand how we are faced with uncertainty due to how things turn out, but I am here to tell you that the Father is not slack concerning his promises towards you as long as you are Kingdom minded or concerned about ministry and the work and progression of the body of Christ. The first truth you must grasp is this, whilst you and I were still sinners Christ Jesus chose to die for us all, and secondly, if you are in partnership with what the Father is doing through the church then you are blessed. The Apostle Paul spoke out something fundamentally powerful so that you and I can rid ourselves of all doubt and fears;
Philippians 1:6-7
[6]And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
[7]It is right and appropriate for me to have this confidence and feel this way about you all, because you have me in your heart and I hold you in my heart as partakers and sharers, one and all with me, of grace (God’s unmerited favor and spiritual blessing). [This is true] both when I am shut up in prison and when I am out in the defense and confirmation of the good news (the Gospel).
The Philippian church was concerned about the welfare of Apostle Paul whilst he was in prison and therefore the Apostle Paul reassured them that the Father who began a good work in them would fulfill it until the coming of Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Not only this we see a few chapters later the Apostle Paul also said this powerful thing;
Philippians 4:15-19
[15]And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only.
[16]For even in Thessalonica you sent [me contributions] for my needs, not only once but a second time.
[17]Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account].
[18]But I have [your full payment] and more; I have everything I need and am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. [They are the] fragrant odor of an offering and sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights.
[19]And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Now listen Sons of God, the Father cannot supply all your needs according to His riches in glory unless you are in partnership with the work of the church and the Father cannot fulfil the good thing He began until the return of Christ Jesus our Saviour without you investing in His Kingdom. So with that being said what have you done as far as the Kingdom of God is concerned. What financial support have you given to the man or woman of God or church you serve under?
If nothing then these verses above don’t apply to you. We don’t operate under some magical act but there is order that has to take place in order for the promises to be fulfilled for you and on your behalf.
