My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour peace be to you all. One thing I want you to understand is that what is written is for us; yes it’s for us and it must have preeminence in our daily lives.
There is a sure promise given to Abraham and since we are his descendants this also applies to us:
Hebrews 6:13-15
[13]For when God made [His] promise to Abraham, He swore by Himself, since He had no one greater by whom to swear,
[14]Saying, Blessing I certainly will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you. [Gen. 22:16, 17.]
[15]And so it was that he [Abraham], having waited long and endured patiently, realized and obtained [in the birth of Isaac as a pledge of what was to come] what God had promised him.
Brothers and sisters, this promise also applies to us as descendants or to make it clearer for you, we are successors to Abraham. Meaning we took over from him and must carry out his legacy of faith in God.
With that being said, it means if you are faithless or don’t have faith in God you are a successor of someone else and don’t make go there. You need to realise to whom you belong and the promises God our Father made with you in mind, because the scripture says Genesis 22:17-18
[17]In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies, [Heb. 6:13, 14; 11:12.]
[18]And in your Seed [Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice. [Gen. 12:2-3; 13:16; 22:18; 26:4; 28:14; Acts 3:25, 26; Gal. 3:16.]

As we are in Christ Jesus we are part of that seed of Abraham, a channel of blessing to many and we will possess the gate/door or access point of the enemies. We have power through the keys ( kleis) of the Kingdom (basil eia -realm to rule/reign) such that whatsoever you bind and loose here on earth, so shall it be in heaven in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name-Amen!
