My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus greetings to you all. Now what would you do if everyone turns against you and even raise false accusations against you. Will you defend yourself and fight for justice or you will remain quiet and trust in God’s plan for your life amidst all the turmoil. Often we think we have a say or to say something, but is it not rather intriguing how silence can speak volumes on our behalf.
Brothers and sisters, sometimes silence is golden!
Isaiah 53:7
[7]He was oppressed, [yet when] He was afflicted, He was submissive and opened not His mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.
Some of us are wounded because we are quick to speak, too quick to respond or react. Let us learn from Christ Jesus on how it is profitable to at times zip it.!
Psalm 141:3
[3]Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
Proverbs 15:2
[2]The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool pours out folly.
Truly I say to you, he that watches over their mouth will enjoy better days and live longer. At times stop pointing fingers and watch what comes out right under your nose
