Sons versus Visitors.

My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour peace, grace and mercy to you all.
What shall I say then, dare not to be a visitor but be one who resides. A minority of us have understood that it takes fellowship with the Father in order to be a recipient of Heavens unlimited resources and blessings.
Ignorance has led many to think that we can just get/receive when we are not acknowledged as God’s children. Certain principles cannot be overlooked.
Watch this, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ said, John 15:5-8
[5]I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
[6]If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.
[7]If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
[8]When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

To receive nutrients from the Vine, you have to be part of the Vine not to be a visitor. They are benefits that children are privileged to that a visitor is not!
A visitor is not entitled to the privileges of children and you will find that Christ Jesus said it is those that dwell/abide/have made their home in Him and are rich of His Word within their hearts, that can ask for anything and it shall be done!
Here is where we miss it-from Monday to Friday we probably pray once or twice or during services and maybe we study and meditate on the scripture during cell groups or mid week services, and let’s be honest not all of us do meditate on the scriptures, yet when we pray we expect God to move Heaven and earth on our behalf,.my friends you are joking!
Without being a Son forget it!
Without studying and meditating on His Word daily -dream on!
For visitors will never receive the bread for children, whilst the children go hungry.
So let us fix our ignorance and learn to firstly delight in the Father in order for Him to grant our heart’s desires.
God cannot bend His principles in order to accommodate you or me- He is Just & Sovereign and Has never said anything that needs human correction- so His Word stands firm forever! Let us therefore live in obedience for only then will we benefit from God.
