Let us begin with Love

Beloved Sons of God hear me well tonight, without love we are nothing. We cannot surely be Christians if we don’t have love for everyone-yes including our enemies. The Lord Jesus Christ upon being crucified said, ‘Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing!’. Imagine the one murdering you, destroying you and you ask God to forgive them. Our place is never to hate or label, but love unconditionally. Judgement and the verdict is not for us but for Christ on the Day of Judgment. Our duty and core purpose is to love one another and correct each other especially those whom we see walking in darkness. We are never called to condemn but we are called to bring in the harvest through love.
Ephesians 5:1-2 the Apostle Paul says,
[1]THEREFORE BE imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father].
[2]And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. [Ezek. 20:41.]

I tell you the truth love not only covers a multitude of sin, but also shows kindness to the worst kind. Proverbs 25:21-22 clearly says,
[21]If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
[22]For in doing so, you will heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord will reward you.

You may ask, ‘but man of God my enemies are merciless, how then do I safeguard myself, the answer is found in Matthew 5:44 when Christ Jesus said,
[44]But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

The secret to going over this mountain is prayer!
I end by giving you another passage of scripture that will clarify the kind of lifestyle or reaction that is expected of us as Christians towards our enemies the most because we have no problems with those who love us:
Romans 12:16-21
[16]Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits. [Prov. 3:7.]
[17] Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest and proper and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone. [Prov. 20:22.]
[18]If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
[19]Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God’s] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord. [Deut. 32:35.]
[20]But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head. [Prov. 25:21, 22.]
[21]Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good.

May we digest over this word and begin!
