Pray for discernment!

My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus grace, mercy and peace through Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour -amen!
Hear me somebody there’s a vast difference between discernment and interpretation though these two seem to function the same. The reason why some of us miss it is because we rely on logic instead of the promptings of the Holy Spirit that gives us the ability to make a smart judgement about something.
You see, discernment is by the Holy Spirit whilst interpretation is by the human mind.
You need to understand that the greatest killer of faith known to man is logic.
We thrive in making logical sense over the things or ways of God when the only way to fully understand is by Spiritual discernment.
Sons of God how you understand a matter or the teachings or ways of God is very important because this influences and impacts on decisions that you make and how you live-out your life.
If ever you seek to be fruitful in this life by taping into and gaining access to the Kingdom of God then you need discernment.
It takes discernment not logical sense.
In a church set-up a preacher or teacher of the gospel preaches yet all of us come out with different understanding based on our interpretation of the message; this is an error!
If we have discernment we can understand accurately the message being preached and apply it for our benefit. In Matthew 26:59-63 we read of false witnesses who used interpretation to the teachings of Christ Jesus instead of discernment and therefore misunderstood what was being taught.
A captured or canal mind is a limited source of accurate information whilst a discerning spirit is a wellspring of accurate information!
To interpret is to explain something based on the knowledge you acquired and your level of understanding, whilst to discern is to make life transforming decisions based on a discovery/revelation by the Holy Spirit which leads to fruitful future actions.
Interpretation is of logical sense via the human mind.
Discernment is of revelation via the Holy Spirit of God our Father.
The Apostle Paul says in Romans 12:2
[2]Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove/discern [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Here He is saying, within the times we are living in with vast ideaologies, technologies and moral decadence, there is a perfect will which is the will of God and an imperfect will which is of man. It takes discernment to know which Will, will work best for you and which one will lead you astray, and brothers and sisters this is only possible if we yield to the Holy Spirit of God and allow Him to open our spirits to revelation that comes from Heaven.
I pray that may we receive the gift of discernment today in such perilous times that we are living in.
