Wilderness is preparation ground

Greetings to you my fellow brethren in Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour, I hope I find you well wherever you are?
Sons of God I have two questions for you today;

  1. What is in your heart?
  2. How do you handle being in the wilderness?
    A wilderness is a wasteland, it is an abandoned or neglected place.
    Now we all go through our own wildernesses which is a position of disfavour.
    You need to realize that the wilderness is not dying ground for a believer but it is a preparation ground. In Matthew 3 after the Lord Jesus Christ was baptized soon after in chapter 4 the Holy Spirit led Him into the wilderness not into the land of milk and honey there He was to be tempted/tested by the devil!
    Hear me well, before you are qualified you have to be tested; before you graduate there has to be a test or examination you go through.
    We all want the blessing of the Lord that makes us rich and adds no sorrow but how many of us are willing to go through the process of testing(wilderness)?
    In Psalm 84:5-7 King David said,
    [5]Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.
    [6]Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings.
    [7]They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; each of them appears before God in Zion.

In verse 5 he said one is blessed who has the highways to Zion or who understands the ways of God. Many of us are left despondent/discouraged /faithless when we go through wildernesses (trials) because we do not understand the ways of the Father!
So in verse 6 he says even if you pass through the wilderness or the valley of Bacca which means weeping/pain/struggle you will rejoice in the Lord unwavering and this will attract yo you the heaven’s rain coupled with the blessing that maketh rich adding no sorrow. Listen there is a reason why scripture says, let the weak say I’m strong because our ways and God’s ways are different. Do you trust the Father’s plan for your life such that even though you face a drought like Isaac in Genesis 6 you will sow seed in a dry season and harvest a hundred fold?
I want to encourage you that dry seasons are not meant to kill you but for the glory of God to be seen and shown through you.
My brethren I conclude by saying Arise and Shine for your Light has come and the Father’s glory is risen upon you even in that wilderness!
