My fellow brethren in Christ Jesus, Hear me this day, the truth of the matter is that Christ died so that you don’t have to die!
The message is about the cross, and if you do not acknowledge the power of the cross at Calvary then you are missing the point and living a defeated life!
We can talk about all other things like money, cars, houses, marriages, children, or promotions but if we do not include the message of cross we have spoken mere fables. I want you and I today to go back to the message of the cross of Calvary where Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour was crucified and I want us to consider to what significant value is the message of the cross to us, not just any cross but the very one that Christ was crucified. Listen, there is immeasurable power in the message of the Cross of Calvary!
Christianity would not have begun without the work that Christ did at the cross of Calvary!
Today’s victories would not be celebrated without the sacrifice at the cross of Calvary!
Paul says, 1 Corinthians 1

17. For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force and emptied of its power and rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect).
18. For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God.

Let’s keep it simple and legit, lest we dilute the quintessence of the message of the cross of Calvary-Christ(God) sacrificed Himself as the ultimate sacrifice so that we can qualify for Heaven- now the question is are we living therefore accordingly to that ultimate sacrifice and of what value do we cherish the work that was done by Christ for us !
Your faith should not be on a man/woman of God or the job or money or spouse or parent but it must hinge on the finished work at the cross of Calvary!
Build your hope/faith or nothing else but on Christ Jesus’ blood and righteousness which qualified Him as the sacrificial Lamb without blemish and over the Power to which the name, blood, and sacrifice of Christ Jesus carries!
