Sons of the living God, Christ had to die and go to hell to take away the keys of Hades and death that was given to Satan by the mistake of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Unless Christ took the keys today we would’ve had no power over tormenting spirits/demons. Hades is the name of a Greek god who rules the underworld and the place he rules is named after him which is hades a to mean, “the place or state of departed spirits”
Sons of God in order for us to have life and have it more abundantly Christ Jesus’ chose to die so that as a spirit he can access the place of Hades and overthrow its god, so that you and I may enjoy life in its abundance having victory over demonic entities, that is why He say He is the Way-meaning the Solution over demonology, the devil and allof the Kingdom of darkness.
Revelation 1:18
[18]I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

So because of what Christ Jesus did, no decay, no death, no destruction shall befall you; Yes a thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

We are grateful for this kind of love that Christ showed us.
