Sons of the Most High God. There is something heartbreaking that I have seen. Many Christians believe fasting and praying alone will put food on their tables and clothes on their body, or believe that prayer alone will bring provision into their lives!
They neglect the systems of the world of working and doing something for then provision to be birthed. Hear me unless sow you cannot reap!
Ignorance to certain principles of God is a killer!
In Luke 16

8. The Lord Jesus Christ says, “The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.

That word shrewd means to be sharp-witted/ clever/ wiser/intelligent/ alert!
You will discover that sadly in as much as many Christians pray, they are poor and in poverty, and worst still some are believing that God will rain down manner from heaven as a means for their provision!
During the covid pandemic most of the children of this world racked in millions and some made billions of dollars because they were wiser to take advantage of such a time ans saw opportunities and made good use of them!
The “worldly” people hustle hard, whilst the believer fasts hard due to ignorance!
I am not against prayer and fasting because I fast and pray myself but I also learnt to work with my hands in order to accumulate wealth.
Be wise to trade and make money and wealth and gain friends for yourself in business!
The Lord Jesus then explained the purpose for the parable He gave of the shrewd manager from Luke 16 and says in Luke 16

9. Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. Then, when your earthly possessions are gone, they will welcome you to an eternal home.

In other words the Lord is saying build solid partnerships in business or work, so that when you are in a tight spot your business partners will bail you out!
Sons of God let us be wiser than the worldly people!
Let us aim higher as well in life as much as we do in our walk with Christ. Open your eyes to see opportunities around you and utilize them for your advancement and advntage!
I pray for you today that as you are on this world and as you embark in business or work, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name!
