Be FAITH-FULL not FAITH-LESS!

Sons of the Most High God blessings to you in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name!
It is only when an orange is crushed that we get orange juice.
It was at a time that Christ was bidding farewell that the disciples he had lived, shared a bed and a meal with began to doubt that He is the Messiah!
He starts of by encouraging the disciples not to lose their faith in Him in John 14

  1. “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust/rely/depend on/have faith also in me.

So much was the doubt in these lads that the Lord had to convince them that He was the Saviour as we see here from John 14

  1. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”
  2. Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
  3. Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?
  4. Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.
  5. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of the work you have seen me do.
  6. “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. He even said ok I see you doubt me but what of the works I do, believe that!
It never ended there the following chapter Christ had to reasure them again and explain that He is the true Grapevine(meaning the Messiah- the Saviour/The Source of life ), and to show the benefits He has for us, and He goes on to speak about the Holy Spirit of promise that He will come and aid us and guide us and teach us!
I can go on and on to explain the Lord’s Prayer in chapter 17, all this was to reassure the disciples, but time won’t permit me to go on!
To cut to the chase the bottomline of all this is, when you just like the disciples are faced with an uncomfortable circumstance, whereby it seems like there is no Saviour for your obstacle – what do you do?
Yes, in that moment of difficulty, what do you do?
Do you get troubled and be hopeless like the disciples or you will have faith in Christ Jesus’ that He is with you always and has already made a way for you?!
Dear sons of God, my prayer and encouragement for us today is that, no matter what’s at stake remain “FAITH-FULL” and don’t be Doubtful which is “FAITH-LESSNESS”!
You believe in God, believe in and in the name of Jesus Christ too cos it is POWER & THE ANSWER you seek!
