My friend your Language does matter.
Excuse my French its not French but swearing. One has to put a guard on their own tongue. There is danger of hell if one does not tame/discipline their own tongue.
It’s the fruit in this case that’s evident to whom you belong to- because the words you speak are recorded in the atmosphere that are eternal spiritual seeds.
Ephesians 5:says;
[4]Let there be no filthiness (obscenity, indecency) nor foolish and sinful (silly and corrupt) talk, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting or becoming; but instead voice your thankfulness [to God].
Listen child of God swearing does not mean you good in English it is a demonic trend of speaking that will send you to hell. There is nothing cool about swearing. To detect if one is saved it is very simple-listen to their tone of speech; how can the Holy Spirit be resident in a person with a foul mouth?
Paul in his epistle to the Colossians addressed this matter in chapter 3:
[8]But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!
[9]Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old (unregenerate) self with its evil practices,
[10]And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. [Gen. 1:26.]
As a child of God there must be a difference with how you speak and how the unbeliever speaks. You cannot say you are born again when you speak the same words that an unsaved person speaks.
Teach and train yourself to speak pure words as the bible commands and may God help us to build good vocabulary in our words in Christ Jesus’ mighty name.
