No man is an Island!

My beloved friend we all need mentors in life to guidle us through the Christian walk. A spiritual father of mother is not a man made up thing but this is a term mostly used in Africa to describe a spiritual mentors or a spiritual guides. Now watch this, Adam had Eve and Eve had Adam, Ruth had Naomi and Naomi had Ruth, Paul had Barnabas and Barnabas had Paul, Timothy had Paul and Paul had Timothy, the disciples had Jesus and Jesus had the disciples, Abraham had Lot and Lot had Abraham, Elijah had Elisha and Elisha had Elijah, Mordecai had Esther and Esther had Mordecai, Moses had Aaron and Aaron had Moses; I can go on and on to try and show you that no man is an island and we need each other in order to thrive. God never designed us to be lone rangers and try to make it or figure it out on our own. The kings of Biblical times if they didn’t consult the Prophets of God they consulted the prophets of the devil (sorcerers). Everyone of them needed someone to depend on or help them grow. I need you and you need me. Paul didnt just become a great missionary on his own, he had to meet Ananias in Damascus and the disciples there for him to grow spiritually and begin his journey. God’s original intent in creating us was that we be fruitful in everything we do and multiply in our offspring and replenish and subdue the earth having total dominance over everything and most importantly he said this, Genesis 2:18 Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him.
Without the people these men and women I mentioned above, none of them would have been successful in fulling their God -set assignments and purposes, including Christ Jesus God himself. So realize that you cannot do whatever you are doing alone, God has assigned people into our lives to help us bring out the best version in us and please do note that the devil has his own representatives to try to disrupt the purposes and plans of God for our lives!
