Grace Period!

My friend we as gentiles that have been engrafted in the God’s vine have been given a grace period to come unto repentance and begin to live our lives in the will of GOD. As I studied the WORD of God in Romans 11 Paul said something very interesting and he went on further to Romans 12 to explain why he urges us to present our bodies as living sacrifices.
Hear this, Romans 11:20-22,25
That is true. But they were broken (pruned) off because of their unbelief (their lack of real faith), and you are established through faith [because you do believe]. So do not become proud and conceited, but rather stand in awe and be reverently afraid.
For if God did not spare the natural branches [because of unbelief], neither will He spare you [if you are guilty of the same offense].
Then note and appreciate the gracious kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s gracious kindness to you–provided you continue in His grace and abide in His kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off (pruned away).
Lest you be self-opinionated (wise in your own conceits), I do not want you to miss this hidden truth and mystery, brethren: a hardening (insensibility) has [temporarily] befallen a part of Israel [to last] until the full number of the ingathering of the Gentiles has come in.
My friend Israel was temporarily cut off so that we have a grace period to be engrafted into God’s family and that is why then Paul urges us on in Romans 12:1-3 and says, I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.
So get serious with God now don’t say I’ll get serious tomorrow because we are never guaranteed of tomorrow that is why death is a mystery and a surprise to us. Today is the moment and opportunity that God has allocated for you and I to be engrafted and most of all stay engrafted in the Vine.
