My friend there is one thing that I was meditating on and this is how we are blinded from God’s promises and realities simply because we still holding on to a past that God says we should forgo. If a person is in Christ they are a new creature therefore old things have to pass away, yet we cleave to them. Our Father seeks us to move forward that is why in the armour described by Paul there is nothing covering the back. God wants us to break up camp and advance forward not backwards. Hear me, don’t let your past blind you of what your future holds. Our Heavenly Father said in Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Your ability to see or perceive that which God is doing, is based on your agility to let go of your past.
Focus ahead and not backwards if you seeking progress. Yesterday’s is dead and gone today is a brand new day with it’s blessings and challenges and tomorrow, well it is yet to come we can only look forward to brighter days ahead by the goodness of the Lord.
