My friend today I want us to look at appetites. I have realized that we are so much able easily to satisfy flesh appetites than we are to satisfy spiritual appetites. I woke up so much hungry for His word and my spirit was deeply troubled as it was craving and is hungry for God and His WORD. Now how many of us today can say I am desperate for God, for His Presence?
How many right now are longing for His Presence just as a deer longs for the water brooke?
Today I want someone to train themselves on how to have a deep appetite for God, a rich and intense searching after for His glory/presence.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said in Matthew 5:6 Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied! [Isa. 55:1, 2.]
Hear me there is absolute satisfaction, prosperity, good success and immeasurable blessings in being filled with God after having had a deeper hunger for Him. That is why Christ Jesus said He is the bread of life that fills up and the living water that completely satisfies and quenches the thirst. Will you hunger for Him with me today?
Nothing, absolutely nothing surpasses being filled with God!
