My friend ignorance is one of the greatest downfalls we have as children of God.
What you know and believe about God is fulfilled in your life. Most of us fail to harness the things of God due to ignorance. Hear this, Acts 17:30 says, Such [former] ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored and allowed to pass unnoticed; but now He charges all people everywhere to repent (to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins),
The promises of God come to those that abide to His principles.
Lack of knowledge or ignorance is a killer. Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
We need to pray that we plough out this thorn of being ignorant and overlooking certain things of God because it hinders fruitfulness in certain areas in our lives.
