My friend who is it that is the source of your life. Where do you draw your strength from each day and each moment? Certain outputs or outbursts from us are based on whom we draw from.
Who is supplying you with information and who is it that drives your emotions and feelings and is your counsel?
Who do you turn to when fall or fail ?
Psalm 73:26 says, My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.
When you need direction who do you consult or consider for help?
Psalm 16:5-11 says, The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion, my cup; You hold and maintain my lot.
The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good heritage.
I will bless the Lord, Who has given me counsel; yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad and my glory [my inner self] rejoices; my body too shall rest and confidently dwell in safety,
For You will not abandon me to Sheol (the place of the dead), neither will You suffer Your holy one [Holy One] to see corruption. [Acts 13:35.]
You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. [Acts 2:25-28, 31.]
My friend, make the Lord your choicest portion whereby He will not only instruct you but lead you on the path of life.
