My friend, I have realized through time that putting my trust in man is creating room for disappointment. Many of us have had promises and expectations that we never saw come to pass from our fellow man and loved ones. May I announce to you today that there is one man out of billions that never disappoints. He never goes back on His promises because they are yes and amen in the Holy Spirit. His name is Jesus Christ! You can trust Him with everything you are, everything you have and want to be and to have.
His word assures us and says in Proverbs 3:5-6
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
Hear me, God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction [for what He has promised]. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?(Numbers 23:19)
So count on Him today!
