My friend our lives are interesting journeys. Just like any trip you do not know what lies ahead. Yes we make plans, and yes we have expectations but we need to understand that even though the route might be the same yet our experiences differ. Not everyone gets to their planned destination. Find comfort in understanding what King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, [Heb. 9:27.]
When life gives us birthdays, weddings and wedding anniversaries, baby welcomes; let us celebrate together, but let us know and prepare that at some stage life will present to us loss and/or the passing away of loved ones in such times let us also mourn together because death occurs to each and everyone of us. The Lord taught us to say in Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep(mourn) with those who weep(mourn) [sharing others’ grief].
These two moments in time my friend, are inevitable.
