My friend everything good we have or that which we do we learn it or have it from our Father in Heaven. We give because He gave; we have peace and make peace because He gave peace. We have love and know how to love because he first loved us.
Scripture says in 1 John 4:19
We love Him, because He first loved us.
Whether consciously or unconsciously we emulate certain traits from the one we choose to pay attention to. With that been said, if someone lies a lot they are taking it from their father. John 8:44 You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.
Your character determines whom you follow. Christ Jesus taught this again and says in John 5:19 So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn].
So ask yourself today who’s child are you based by what you do?
