When we realize that as a flower we one day will wither or as a shadow we some day will fade we begin to live each day with the knowledge and wisdom to WORSHIP our Heavenly Father withholding nothing. In the book of Job 14, Job explains to us that a man born of a woman has a few years of life full of trouble, so you have to realize that the good and the bad days are all part of life’s path for you and me. Having a smooth life is only possible in death but if you living there surely will be ups and downs. Therefore it is required of us to be found faithful no matter what we face.
I love what the word of GOD says in the King James version of Psalms 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
When and until you know that our days are numbered we surely will live each day wisely to the glory to God the Father as scripture says in,1 Corinthians 10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.
And again in Colossians 3:17 it says, And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.
So living in/for Christ Jesus is living in wisdom and a successful life.
