At times we don’t realize that God is sovereign and when we upset we too quick to say certain things to God. There are certain boundaries we must not cross as children of GOD. Honour is respect and we should understand that in as much as we are children of God we are also His creation therefore we must reverence Him in all ways.
Ecclesiastes 5:2 says, Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before God. For God is in heaven, and you are on earth; therefore let your words be few.
It reminds us that we should know our place and what not to say.
So as you pray, or those times you upset/emotional/hurt put a guard upon your lips and be very cautious of the words you will speak.
The Lord warns us and says, Matthew 12:36
But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.
So watch what you are saying.
