There is a requirement by God for every believer to be put on trial and proven worthy of trust. Just as a student is given an exam at the end of a study. We as children of God should also be tested to prove our trustworthiness in the faith.
His word says in 1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards(trustees) that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust].
GOD allows such processes in order to truly define us(as those trustworthy). There is a misconception I need us to understand, when gold is refined it has to go through fire, likewise tests (exams/trials) are meant to refine us or to prove if we have mastered that which we confess to an extent that we are unwavering in faith; not to hurt or destroy us. So count it all joy my friend, for this is to bring out the best of you not to destroy you!
