My friend, I read something in the Holy scriptures that made me realize that peace doesn’t just come upon our lives. One of the reasons why bad things happen to good people is by the fact that the good people fail to ensue or go after the good in order for it to come. The same is with peace it has to be sought after, to be craved, and when you find it, one has to lay hold of it tightly.
Peace is like that great catch when you go fishing and unawares to many the moment you decide to take a photo of “the moment”- the great catch will slip off your hands and swim away. Peace never comes cheap, it’s very rare and costly and once you grab hold of it, make sure, hear me, be certain that the grip is tighter.
Psalm 34:
[14]Depart from evil and do good; seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue (go after) it!
So long for/ greatly desire peace and it will come, once available lay hold of it.
